Thursday May 3, 2007 is designated as the National Day of Prayer. Now regardless of your choice of denomination, your political affiliation or the color of your hair…we think that this day has a strong significance because it promotes PEACE, TRUTH and LOVE FOR EACH OTHER. In an effort to support the National Day of Prayer CEILI RAIN is partnering with the popular social network site MYSPACE and asking for as many people as possible to post the song KNEELING on their profile for Thursday May 3rd.
All good deeds do not go unnoticed…we will randomly be checking profiles in this network of 175M+ people and if we click on your page and you have KNEELING on your profile we will send 10 lucky recipients a promotional copy of KNEELING personalized by BOB HALLIGAN JR (writer of the tune and frontman for CEILI RAIN). As many of you know, Bob has written over 900 songs during his career for many popular artists in addition to his work with CEILI RAIN.
KNEELING appears on the WHATEVER MAKES YOU DANCE CD released in Fall 2006. It gained increased attention when it was added to the KLOVE playlist as well as 600+ independent stations nationwide. The song peaked at #12 on the CRW radio chart and has now been added as one of the most popular requested songs at CEILI RAIN concerts.
