Wowee! Where did the time go? Seems like we were justing celebrating Christmas and now the Indianapolis Colts have already been declared Superbowl Champs and Valentine’s Day is just a week away!
Well they say “time flies when you’re having fun”…and we’ve been having lots of fun kicking the year off with a bunch of shows and promoting WHATEVER MAKES YOU DANCE. We hear lots of folk got new CD’s under the tree from Santa and the emails have been great. Keep ‘em coming and let us know your favorites! One of our favorites (as you probably know by now) is KNEELING which was the first single we officially released from the CD. This song is like the “little engine that could”…it keeps gaining steam then setlles back a bit and keeps gaining steam then settles back a bit…makes us a bit reminiscent of the LIKE A TRAIN video…well…we are actually excited to report that KNEELING is gaining speed yet again…
The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is pleased to announce its 2006 finalists. ISC received almost 15,000 entries from 88 countries worldwide.
KNEELING by Bob Halligan Jr is a FINALIST in the Christian/gospel category!
From February 1 to February 28, 2007, members of the public can take part in the People’s Voice – an online voting contest that allows them to listen to and vote for their favorite ISC finalist. The winner of the People’s Voice is in addition to, and completely separate from, the regular winners who will be selected by the ISC judging panel. People’s Voice is judged solely by public vote. Visit http://www.songwritingcompetition.com/pvwelcome2006.htm to listen to the ISC finalists’ songs and cast your vote daily!
In the meantime, all finalists’ songs have been sent to the ISC judges who will select the winners (other than the People’s Voice winner which is selected by you). All winners will be announced in March, 2007, as soon as the results are in. Stay tuned…
