Ahh yes the sweet sounds of summer are upon us. For those of you who know us well…that’s right…it’s BASEBALL season. And you know our feelings about those Yankees…right?

But alas…we have some Ceili news…

First of all, many of you were with us last year when we kicked off our 10 year celebration at the Sherlock Holmes Pub in Nashville. It was a packed house and a night we’ll remember forever. Now here we are a year later wrapping up this joyous celebration and once again we visit Nashville to put the last decade to bed. This time we will be at one of the hottest venues in town-3rd & Lindsley. These guys have an amazing reputation and we are so grateful they’ve made room for our party! Now speaking of Nashville, you know it’s the heart of the country music business, eh? Well lo and behold some folks think Ceili Rain music fits in right up there with Shania Twain, Keith Urban, Clint Black and the “it girl” Carrie Underwood. Who- you ask? Well the folks at THE COUNTRY EDGE radio…that’s who! Our song STOMP has been added to their playlist! The Country Edge is actually based in Canada (I know this is getting confusing isn’t it) and their tagline is “where the North meets the South”. We were originally chosen for their Sunday Celtic Hour but I guess they ended up cancelling that show due to lack of interest…huh? Lack of interest in a celtic hour? BUT, the good news is that folks liked us-so they kept us in their playlist! You can listen online and even REQUEST our tune! They really do play it when you request it! We know…we tried it! Just go here to check it out and make a request. You can even dedicate your request to someone and the request shows up on the front page. So we know everyone is ready to move forward with us as we enter this new Ceili decade.
