Yes, yes we know we are a little early this month but we got some very cool Ceili news we really wanted to share!

First up-we just recently found out that the Ceili tune PEACE HAS BROKEN OUT was selected as an honorable mention in the first ever-PeaceDriven Songwriting Award event sponsored by PeaceDriven.com. This international contest was searching for a song that shows the most drive for peace. Be it drive for peace in the world, peace in your home or school, or inner peace. The organization received over 500 entries.

Sponsors of the Peacedriven Songwriting Award include Peacedriven.com and the Red Posts Project. Peacedriven.com is funded by YouthVenture. The Red Posts Project, which works for school violence prevention, is the recipient of several awards, including the Doublemint Grant from Venus and Serena Williams, and the National Visionary Award for StreetLaw, Inc.

We just found out that he has posted a show featuring the music of CEILI RAIN! He plays a few of our tunes from the ANTHOLOGY cd-gives new listeners a great history and introduction to Ceili Rain music and just gives us a big ol cheer!
